Adobe Firefly Edits Video by Prompt

Adobe’s Firefly now lets users edit videos using simple text prompts instead of rebuilding entire clips. The update introduces a timeline view and integrates powerful third-party models like FLUX.2 and Topaz Astra. This leap makes precise, AI-driven video editing faster and more accessible for creators.
Prompt-Based Video Editing: Users can adjust colors, camera angles, or sky conditions with commands like “Change the sky to overcast.” This eliminates the need to regenerate full videos for minor tweaks.
New Timeline and Control: The updated Firefly app includes a timeline for fine-tuning frames, sound, and motion. It also supports recreating camera movements using reference videos and start frames.
Third-Party Model Integration: Firefly now incorporates Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.2 for images and Topaz Astra for upscaling videos to 4K. These additions expand creative options without leaving the Adobe ecosystem.
Free Access Through January: Subscribers to Firefly Pro and other credit-based plans get unlimited access to all models until January 15. This encourages users to experiment with the new tools risk-free.
Adobe is accelerating Firefly’s evolution to keep pace with AI video rivals. With prompt-based editing and top-tier model integrations, it’s becoming a serious creative hub. If you’ve been waiting for intuitive, generative video tools, Firefly just got a lot more compelling.

Mozilla Bets on Trust-Based AI

Mozilla’s new CEO, Anthony Enzor-DeMeo, believes Firefox can thrive in the AI era by prioritizing user trust over hype. Rather than building its own large language model, Mozilla will offer users a choice of AI models within Firefox, open-source, private, or from major providers. The goal is transparency, not vendor lock-in.
AI Without the Lock-In: Firefox’s upcoming AI Mode will let users pick their preferred model instead of forcing one option. This approach aligns with Mozilla’s mission to give people control over their browsing experience.
Browser First, Always: Enzor-DeMeo emphasizes that Firefox remains Mozilla’s core product. Recent features like tab groups and mobile growth show renewed focus on user experience and performance.
Open Web, New Business Models: Mozilla wants to preserve the ad-supported open web but also diversify revenue. Plans include expanding Firefox Monitor, Mozilla VPN, and exploring subscriptions without blocking ad blockers.
Trust as a Differentiator: In a market flooded with opaque AI tools, Mozilla positions itself as the browser you can rely on. Users know their data won’t be misused, and they can simply turn features off.
Mozilla isn’t chasing AI hype; it’s betting that trust and choice will win long-term loyalty. With 200 million monthly users and a clear mission, Firefox may not dominate, but it offers something rare: an AI browser you can actually trust. If you value privacy and openness, that might be enough.
Why AI Isn’t Replacing Affiliate Marketing After All
“AI will make affiliate marketing irrelevant.”
Our research shows the opposite.
Shoppers use AI to explore options, but they trust creators, communities, and reviews before buying. With less than 10 percent clicking AI links, affiliate content now shapes both conversions and AI recommendations.
