šOpenAI to Launch AI Web Browser
What: OpenAI is launching an AI-powered web browser built on Chromium in the coming weeks. It integrates ChatGPT-style chat, realātime summarization, contextual memory, voice commands, and its AI agent āOperatorā to carry out tasks like form filling or booking reservationsāÆ.
Why: This matters because OpenAI could leverage its 500āÆmillion weekly ChatGPT users to lure people away from Chrome, challenging Googleās dominance and disrupting its advertising-driven data gathering model.
Impact: If it gains traction, OpenAIās browser could reshape internet browsing, turning the tool into a proactive assistant rather than just a navigation point. It may prompt fundamental shifts in how websites serve and monetize contentāÆ.
Keep an eye out for the official launch later this summer. Will browsing shift from clicking links to conversing with an AI in-browser? Itās a big bet one that could redefine how we surf the web. Curious to see how it stacks up!

šWindsurf CEO Joins Google DeepMind
What: OpenAI's proposed $3āÆbillion acquisition of AI coding startup Windsurf has collapsed. Instead, Google DeepMind is now onboarding Windsurf CEO Varun Mohan, co-founder Douglas Chen, and parts of the R&D team, along with securing a nonāexclusive technology license.
Why: This matters because OpenAIās deal unraveled due to tensions with its major backer Microsoft, while Google swooped in with a $2.4āÆbillion licensing-and-hire arrangement. The move illustrates how talent and tech deals are shaping the fierce rivalry among AI giants.
Impact: Googleās new team will boost DeepMindās agentic coding work for its Gemini platform. OpenAI loses out on the next big AI coding stack, raising fresh questions about its ability to compete in developer tooling.
OpenAI's vision is losing ground, or at least key talent, to its rival. Will we see a wave of defections reshaping the AI coding landscape next? Stay tuned for how this shift evolves.

I Built a Side Hustle with AI. Now It Pays Me $800 every month
$800/Month from My Laptop (No BS Guide)

Six months ago?
Man, I was living off instant ramen,
trying to convince myself that I wasnāt just completely bombing at this whole āadultingā thing.
Every āmake money onlineā trick? Total flop.
Fiverr? Ghost town.
Upwork? Fired off 57 proposals ā no one cared.
Amazon KDP? Sold a single coloring book.
To my cousin. (She still hasnāt colored a page, by the way.)
I didnāt need a āget rich quickā scheme.
I just wanted to keep my lights on ā and maybe avoid getting kicked out.
Iād already been messing around with ChatGPT,
Writing dumb product descriptions and pretending like I was Jeff Bezos or something.
But, if Iām being real,
I just thought it was a neat party trick.
Not some money-printing machine.
Then my landlord hit me with a rent hike.
Cue existential terror.
Suddenly, Iām deep-diving into every āfreelance with AIā article I could find.
Most of it was trash.
You can tell half these people have never actually worked with a client. Just endless copy-paste nonsense.
But after some trial and (a lot of) error, something finally made sense.
I offered to write some email flows for a friendās Shopify store
Used ChatGPT to speed things up. Took me an hour.
He PayPals me $200.
I just stared at my phone like Iād won the lottery.
Thatās when it smacked me in the face:
AI isnāt gonna save you unless you treat it like a power tool, not a magic ATM.
Hereās the rookie mistake (yep, been there too):
People treat ChatGPT like an unpaid intern.
āWrite an ebook!ā
āGive me 10 business ideas!ā
Cool⦠and now what? Youāre left with a pile of digital junk youāll never use.
What worked for me?
Picking one solid, no-BS service:
writing and automating email flows for small brands.
From One Gig to Paying My Rent
Not glamorous. Not viral.
But it works. And with AI? Iām five times faster.
Hereās how I use ChatGPT:
- Whip up cold emails that donāt sound like a robot had a stroke
- Build welcome sequences
- Crank out weekly promos that sound human
One gig turned into a retainer.
Next thing I know, Iām waking up to a new client sliding into my inbox:
