• Why: Because these resurrected deepfakes blur the line between memory and fabrication. Families, rights holders, and viewers alike worry about misuse, legacy violations, and emotional harm. The tech has outpaced regulations, making it easier to distort reality with eerie realism.

• Impact: We’re entering a strange frontier: synthetic “resurrections” that may rewrite how we remember people. How will law, ethics, and platform policies evolve to protect dignity and truth in this era of fake revival?

• Why: This edition marks GITEX’s deepest dive yet into AI and its intersections across sectors.Tech giants (AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Huawei, etc.) and frontier players (Cerebras, Tenstorrent) are showcasing infrastructure, tools, and visions.

• Impact: With AI weaving into quantum, biotech, and governance, GITEX could accelerate where the next decade leads us. Will innovations unveiled here rewrite how we live or how industries evolve?

🤖 Salesforce Unveils Agentforce 360 — AI That Does the Busy Work

• What: Salesforce has launched Agentforce 360, a new AI platform that links humans, data, and autonomous agents on one secure system. It’s integrated across Salesforce’s cloud tools and already used by 12,000 customers (like Reddit, OpenTable, Adecco) to automate repetitive tasks.

• Why: Because enterprises are drowning in manual workflows. Agentforce 360 promises to cut friction by letting AI handle routine actions, freeing professionals to focus on higher-impact work. Slack is even gaining conversational AI to perform tasks inside chats, all under enterprise guardrails.

• Impact: AI agents might soon be behind more of what you don’t see: triaging support tickets, updating records, hunting anomalies. The shift raises questions: how do we balance trust, oversight, and productivity in an “agentic” future?

🔌 OpenAI + Broadcom: Building Its Own AI Chip!

• What: OpenAI is partnering with Broadcom to develop its very first in-house AI processor. Broadcom will handle the development and deployment starting in mid-2026, under a multiyear agreement.

• Why: Because OpenAI wants more control over its computing stack and less dependence on third-party chip makers (like Nvidia). This move strengthens its infrastructure autonomy and potential cost efficiencies.

• Impact: If successful, OpenAI’s custom chips could shift the balance in AI hardware — challenging existing giants, optimizing performance, and paving the way for more bespoke model-hardware integration.

Try on clothes with Google AI

Google is testing a feature that lets users virtually try on garments using their own photo. It uses an AI model that “understands the human body and the nuances of clothing.”

1. Go to Search Labs and opt into the “try on” experiment.

2. Browse your style: When you’re shopping for shirts, pants or dresses on Google, simply tap the "try it on" icon on product listings.

3. Upload a full-length photo of yourself. For best results, ensure it's a full-body shot with good lighting and fitted clothing.

4. In just a moment, you will see how the garment looks on you.

5. Save or share your look with friends.

The feature, previously available only to US users, is expanding to Australia, Canada, and Japan in the coming weeks. You can now also try on shoes, not just clothes—the process is the same.
